Roy
J. Kaul established Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan
in 1927. In 1937, Fred H. Kaul formed the Kaul Funeral Home
in Roseville, Michigan. Through the years the Kaul Funeral Homes
have expanded and been modified to meet the needs of the surrounding
communities. In 1985 Kaul Funeral Home expanded even more by
adding a Clinton Township location, and has since added on to
that facility to meet the growing needs.
The growth the funeral homes have experienced is due to the
leadership and foresight of the family, starting with Roy and
Fred Kaul, the sons Frederick and Douglas, their sons Mark and
Todd, and the leadership of the managers Frank Lorbach and Robert
Vandenbergh. The development and growth of the Kaul Funeral
Homes have been in response to the needs of the families and
the communities they serve.
Since the establishment of our firm, we have
proudly been members of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association
(MFDA) and the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).
The compassion and commitment of the founding
fathers, and the staff of the Kaul Funeral Homes are responsible
for the reputation that still exists today. This commitment
makes us proud to look back on our history and for the future
with great pride and respect.
